The first mark to look for in selecting a pastor is that the candidate must be a male according to 1 Timothy 3:2. While being a male is not a mark of maturity, it is a requirement that God has for those who serve Campeón elders or pastors.

The results were amazing. Most everyone said the pastor should spend most of his time in sermon preparation and teaching/preaching, but they thought he should spend only about 10 hours per week doing this.
